Intimate Image Removal Policy

FilmShuffle prohibits nonconsensual intimate imagery, including authentic images and realistic digital forgeries or deepfakes. This Policy provides a clear process for a depicted person, or an authorized person acting on that person’s behalf, to request removal.

You do not need a FilmShuffle account to submit a request.

1. When to use this process

Use this process when an intimate photo or video available through FilmShuffle:

• depicts or appears to depict you as an identifiable person;
• was published without your consent; and
• shows nudity, sexually explicit conduct, or other intimate visual content covered by applicable law.

The process covers authentic content and digital forgeries created or altered using software, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or other technological means.

Do not use this process for ordinary copyright disputes, movie screenshots, non-intimate impersonation, harassment without intimate imagery, or technical bugs. Use Contact/Support or the Copyright and DMCA process instead.

2. How to submit a request

Submit the dedicated Intimate Image Removal Request form on FilmShuffle. If the form is unavailable, email contact@filmshuffle.app with the subject “URGENT: Intimate Image Removal Request.”

A valid written request should include:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the depicted person or an authorized person acting on that person’s behalf. Typing your full legal name into the signature field may serve as an electronic signature.
2. Identification of the intimate image or video and information reasonably sufficient for FilmShuffle to locate it, such as the exact URL, username, content type, post, comment, list, Club, or other location.
3. A brief statement that the depicted person has a good-faith belief the identified image or video was published without that person’s consent, including relevant information that may help FilmShuffle evaluate the request.
4. Contact information sufficient for FilmShuffle to communicate with the depicted person or authorized representative, such as name and email address.
5. If submitted by a representative, a statement that the representative is authorized to act for the depicted person.

Do not upload, attach, forward, or re-send the intimate image merely to make the report. Identify where it appears on FilmShuffle. If FilmShuffle cannot locate the material, we may request additional location information.

3. What happens after a valid request

After receiving a valid request, FilmShuffle will act as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours to:

• remove or disable access to the identified intimate image or video; and
• make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies available through FilmShuffle.

FilmShuffle may assign a case number, confirm receipt, request missing information, and notify you whether the reported material was removed or why the request could not be completed.

FilmShuffle may use hashing or other technical methods to identify known identical copies and help prevent reappearance. FilmShuffle may preserve a limited, access-restricted record or hash when reasonably necessary for compliance, safety, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

4. Privacy and verification

FilmShuffle will limit access to removal requests and related material to people and providers who reasonably need access for review, removal, safety, legal compliance, or system operation.

We may take reasonable steps to verify the requester’s identity, authority, or ability to identify the depiction. Verification will not be used to impose an unnecessary barrier or delay the 48-hour process. We will not require a requester to create an account.

Information may be shared with service providers, law enforcement, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, or others when required or permitted by law or reasonably necessary to protect a person.

5. Requests involving a person under 18

Never upload or resend suspected child sexual abuse material to FilmShuffle.

If the material depicts a person who was under 18 when the image or video was created, identify the location and state that the request involves a minor. FilmShuffle may immediately restrict the content, preserve legally required information, report apparent child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or law enforcement, and take other action required or permitted by law.

6. Good-faith removal and misuse

FilmShuffle may remove or disable access in good faith when a request or surrounding facts indicate that material may be a nonconsensual intimate depiction. Removal does not necessarily constitute a final legal finding.

Do not submit a false request, impersonate a depicted person, or use this process to remove lawful non-intimate criticism or film discussion. FilmShuffle may preserve evidence and take action against misuse.

7. Emergencies

FilmShuffle is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the emergency service for that person’s location. A FilmShuffle removal request does not replace a report to law enforcement or another appropriate authority.
