Synopsis

# The Marriage of Maisara with Zulfakar The marriage of Maisara to Zulfakar has been arranged by Hj. Salam and Zulaika, Zulfakar's parents, because Maisara's appearance resembles their youngest child Zaliza who has passed away. Maisara's presence in the family becomes a consolation to the couple Hj. Salam and his wife. However, the married life between Zulfakar and Maisara is no different from that of a master and a maid. All the things that Maisara does for her husband are never appreciated and she is often scolded. Nevertheless, Maisara remains obedient to her husband and never reports his faults when asked by her mother-in-law. Since Zulfakar does not love his wife, he begins to rekindle a relationship with Elly, his former lover who is now married to someone else. Their secret relationship becomes increasingly intimate because Zulfakar and Elly work at the same place. Zulfakar's household with Maisara remains unhappy.
