Hening Rindu

Synopsis

The story of Mariam, who is married to a drug addict, Hakim. Mariam's suffering and sacrifice in continuing her life with her children are severely tested when she is arrested and imprisoned for a crime she did not commit. Her suffering is compounded when her stepmother conspires with Hakim to sell her infant child to a wealthy couple. The climax comes after her stepmother passes away when she discovers that her late stepmother had sold the ancestral land and house left behind by her father.
