Synopsis

The Women's Market is a 2005 Moroccan fantasy comedy film directed by Fatima Boubekdi , written by Ibrahim Boubekdi, and produced by the Second Channel . It stars Sanaa Akroud , Jawad El Alami , Hammadi Ammor , Hassan Moudiaf , Hanane Zahdi , and Aicha Manaf . The film's story, inspired by Moroccan folklore, tells of a diligent Moroccan student who leaves his village to find a wife after being required to marry to become an imam. He then becomes entangled in the schemes of a clever young woman.
