14 Days in Gainesville

Synopsis

The fall of 1990 in Gainesville, Florida, heralds the arrival of new head football coach Steve Spurrier, the former Heisman winner who promises to breathe new life into the program. But that enthusiasm is clouded by the darkness of another new arrival: a serial killer who preys on the community, killing five students in quick succession. Over a shocking and unforgettable two-week span, the UF community grapples with unspeakable horror and prepares for a season opener like no other, while clinging to the hope of better days to come.
