Synopsis
The whole of the Netherlands is in shock when 56-year-old top executive Gerrit Jan Heijn is kidnapped on September 9, 1987. What follows is a months-long manhunt for the perpetrator: Ferdi E. He murdered Heijn on the day of the kidnapping, but kept up the pretense for months that he was still alive. Experts and former detectives show how they lured E. into a trap. Watch reconstructions and police interrogations in which E. recounts in detail why and how he committed his crimes.
