Synopsis

Newlywed Yun’s life is shattered when her husband is forcibly conscripted by corrupt imperial soldiers, prompting her to embark on a perilous journey across a war-torn landscape to find him. After discovering that her husband has died in battle, Yun is rescued from a brutal ambush by Xiangling, a mysterious, martial arts-wielding woman with a deep resentment toward men. Seeking refuge, Yun moves into Xiangling's secluded mountain cottage, where a deeply intimate bond blossoms between the two women. However, their peaceful domestic life is soon disrupted when a rogue, injured deserter stumbles upon their home pleading for help—igniting a volatile web of love, jealousy, and deadly betrayal as the outside world threatens to tear them apart.
